Changelog — BayWise Lens

Release notes for BayWise Lens, newest first.

June 2026

v1.0 — Jun 25, 2026

In early access (v0), BayWise Lens gave consultants the full shape of an audit with the analysis previewed rather than live. v1.0 makes the analysis real — your notes, uploaded documents, and follow-up answers are now genuinely analysed end to end.

Highlights

  • Live analysis, end to end — section notes, uploaded documents, and Digging-Deeper answers now produce real section summaries, money-sized findings, a cross-section roll-up, and the report narrative.
  • Real document reading — upload PDFs, spreadsheets, and CSVs and have their figures pulled into the analysis.
  • Trustworthy numbers — every money figure is calculated, never guessed, and overlapping issues are de-duplicated so nothing is counted twice.

Live audit analysis

  • Section notes are synthesised into a structured summary as you work; findings carry annual money impact, current-vs-target metrics, the underlying cause, a confidence level, and how addressable they are.
  • The Roll-Up shows what has changed since your last roll-up, and a one-click Refresh re-synthesises the cross-section story and the report’s executive summary.
  • The Total Opportunity figure de-duplicates overlapping findings by their root cause, so the same money is never counted twice.

Documents

  • Upload PDFs, spreadsheets, and CSV files into any section; their figures are read and fed into the analysis alongside your written notes.

Numbers you can trust

  • Money figures are computed, not estimated — the analysis supplies the inputs and the figure is calculated from them; each finding shows its reasoning, ending at the root cause; money is shown in the dealership’s own currency and format.

Report & sign-off

  • The PDF report renders prose full-width for the executive summary and conclusion, with currency symbols, punctuation, and separators rendering correctly.

Reliability

  • Deep-dive analysis automatically retries on a transient hiccup, so a finding isn’t lost to a momentary error, and an empty result is never cached as final.
  • Section notes and action-plan edits persist reliably; the dealership profile is reachable from the navigation; a score explainer shows how the health score is derived; the roll-up time is shown in the dealership location’s own timezone.

Language & feedback

  • Full Arabic language support with right-to-left layout, and a built-in feedback button from anywhere in the app.

Known limitations

  • Single consultant per engagement — simultaneous editing is not yet supported; the most recent save wins.
  • No re-run comparison yet — the baseline is set at sign-off and will power re-run comparisons in a future release.
  • Analysis depends on the data you provide — sections without enough input show a Gap card listing exactly which inputs would unlock the finding.

v0 — Jun 5, 2026

The first release — a complete audit instrument for fixed-ops consultants, from intake to findings to signed report (with AI touchpoints previewed).

Engagements

  • Create an engagement for any dealership, choose Short or Long form, move through Intake → Analysis → Review → Signed → Monitoring, and explore a pre-loaded sample engagement.

Engagement Profile

  • Describe the dealership and presenting problem in your own words; BayLens parses the narrative into structured key indicators marked hard or estimate, editable, with flags for useful-but-missing data.

The Canvas

  • A three-column working surface (Section Rail, Section Workspace, Feedback Rail) with live section numbering and a live Total Opportunity in the rail footer.

Sections and findings

  • Upload files and add notes to any section; BayLens synthesises a structured summary and finding cards with money impact, current-vs-target metrics, cause, confidence, and addressability; a collapsible reasoning chain; 30/60/90-day recommended actions; and Gap cards when a section lacks enough data.

Feedback and comments

  • Select any text to attach a comment; comments collect in the Feedback Rail; resolving a comment applies the change back into the document.

Report and sign-off

  • Assemble the full document at any time, switch between Working and Principal views, print a draft with a watermark, and sign off to finalise the report and set the baseline. PDF download is gated until sign-off.

Settings

  • Workspace settings under Settings → Lens and team capability management under Settings → Team.
