Changelog — BayWise Scheduler

Version history for BayWise Scheduler, newest first. Each entry describes what changed in plain workshop terms.

July 2026

v3.14 — Jul 11, 2026

Fixes

  • Fixed the Analytics page failing to open — it now loads correctly for every workshop.
  • Signing in with Google no longer occasionally sends a returning user to the workshop-setup screen; you now go straight to your dashboard.
  • Sign-in is faster and more reliable, especially on slower connections.

v3.13 — Jul 10, 2026

Sign-in and reliability improvements since v3.9.

Sign in & accounts

  • Reset a forgotten password — request a reset link by email and set a new password from a dedicated page.
  • Signing in and creating an account now share a single, simpler entry page.
  • More reliable sign-in — resolved a rare case where signing in could stall on load.

Fixes & reliability

  • Resolved several issues found during production testing, across scheduling and settings.

v3.12 — Jul 3, 2026

Fixes

  • Continue with Google is now available when creating a new account, not just when signing in — both pages now match.
  • Fixed an issue where finishing account setup after signing in with Google could occasionally take several minutes or appear to hang. It now completes in moments.
  • Signing up again with an email that already has an account now shows a clear message directing you to sign in, instead of appearing to do nothing.
  • The final step of account setup no longer requires scrolling to find the Finish setup button on smaller screens.
  • The BayWise logo on account-setup screens now displays in its full two-tone color, matching the rest of the app.

June 2026

v3.11 — Jun 30, 2026

Sign-in improvements

  • Forgot your password? — a reset link option is now available directly on the sign-in page. Enter your email address and a reset link arrives in your inbox; clicking it takes you to a secure page to set a new password.
  • Sign in with Google — you can now sign in using your Google account instead of a separate password. Click Continue with Google on the sign-in page.

Fixes

  • Technician hourly rates and pay rates now display the correct values consistently throughout the app.
  • Promise dates entered when creating or editing a job now save reliably.

v3.9 — Jun 25, 2026

Everything new since the v1.0 release.

Highlights

  • A redesigned Job Controller — a single live feed of every job in progress, so the whole workshop works from one real-time picture.
  • Guided setup — a step-by-step checklist that walks a new account through configuring the workshop and inviting the team.
  • Times you can trust across locations — every job time, the live clock, Day Close, and analytics now follow each workshop’s own local time.
  • Full Arabic language support, including right-to-left layout.

Job Controller

  • A live, real-time feed of jobs in progress — see status, who is working on what, and what is at risk at a glance.
  • Promise-time risk surfaced directly in the feed, so deliveries running late stand out early.
  • Quick actions on each job to keep the board moving without leaving the feed.
  • Plain-English status everywhere — every job and step shows a readable status instead of an internal code.

The job list

  • Collapse sections to focus on the work that matters now, filter the job list by service category, and read clearer service and step labels throughout.

Setup & onboarding

  • A guided setup checklist for new accounts with an Invite team step (invitations sent by email), clearer wizard wording, and a completion confirmation.

Working across locations

  • Job times, the workshop clock, Day Close, and analytics now follow the active location’s timezone — a branch in another region always sees its own local times, including around midnight.
  • Reports show money in each location’s own currency rather than a single default, and switching locations brings the right settings, currency, and tax rules with you.

Connect & extend

  • A new Developer area in Settings to create and manage API keys, so you can connect BayWise Scheduler to your own tools and systems.

Language & accessibility

  • Full Arabic translations with right-to-left layout; press Escape to close dialogs; save status is announced for screen-reader users.

Feedback

  • A built-in feedback button lets you send a note from anywhere in the app.

Fixes & reliability

  • Workshop settings and operating hours now save in full when edited, not just the fields you touched.
  • New locations start with sensible default workshop settings already in place.
  • Service and equipment catalog additions, and step scheduling and timing data, now save reliably.
  • Navigation and the top bar adapt cleanly at high browser zoom and on smaller screens.
  • Automatic sign-out after a period of inactivity, for account security.

Day Close

  • End-of-day disposition for in-progress steps (Carry Over, Complete, or Delay with reason), bulk actions, and a read-only view of past records.
